Terms of Service

These terms cover RAMKeeper, a Mac app made and sold by an independent developer. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, write to support@reelary.app and ask.
The short version
- RAMKeeper Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You pay once, you keep the version you bought, and updates are included.
- You have 14 days to change your mind, for any reason or none.
- The app acts on your Mac only when you tell it to. Freezing and restarting apps is something you choose, app by app.
- Save your work. RAMKeeper restarts apps through their normal quit path, but no tool can rescue what was never saved.
Who you are dealing with
RAMKeeper is made and operated by an independent developer, not a company. There is no support department and no ticket queue - mail reaches a person. Write to support@reelary.app for anything: purchases, refunds, licensing, bug reports, or questions about these terms.
The two versions
RAMKeeper Free is distributed through the Mac App Store. It reports system-wide memory pressure and swap, and it cannot see individual apps' memory, because the App Store sandbox does not permit it. That is a boundary of the platform, not a feature we withheld.
RAMKeeper Pro is downloaded from this site, runs outside the sandbox, and adds per-app attribution and the controls that act on apps.
Your use of RAMKeeper Free is also subject to Apple's own terms, which govern anything you get from the App Store. These terms cover your relationship with us.
Your license
Buying RAMKeeper Pro gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run it on Macs you own or control. It does not expire, and there is no recurring charge to keep it working.
One license activates up to three machines. If you need more - you replace a Mac, or you work across several - write to support@reelary.app and we will raise your limit or free up a slot. There is no self-service way to release a machine yet, so the fourth activation is refused until you ask; that is a gap in the product, not a policy.
Updates to RAMKeeper Pro are included at no additional charge. If a future version ever becomes a separate paid product, the version you bought keeps working and you are told before anything changes.
Your license key identifies your purchase. Do not publish it, resell it, or share it beyond your own machines. There are exactly two circumstances in which we deactivate a key: when a purchase is refunded, and when a key has been published or resold. We do not deactivate keys for any other reason.
Please do not attempt to defeat the license check or to redistribute the app as your own. Reverse engineering is permitted to the extent the law where you live permits it, regardless of anything in these terms.
Paying, and changing your mind
RAMKeeper Pro is $19 USD, charged once. There is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind.
Payment is handled by Creem, which acts as the seller of record. Your card details are entered with Creem and are handled solely by Creem; they never reach us and we never store them. Creem passes us your email address and order so we can issue your license key.
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason or none. Mail support@reelary.app from the address you bought with. We do not ask why, and we do not require you to prove anything. Your license key stops working when a refund is issued.
Taxes, where they apply, are handled by Creem at checkout.
What the app does to your Mac, and what that means
RAMKeeper Pro can suspend applications and can restart them. Suspending uses the operating system's own mechanism: the app stops running and resumes exactly where it left off. Restarting goes through the application's normal quit sequence, so the app gets its usual chance to save and to ask you about unsaved work.
Two things follow, and you should know both before you use these features.
A suspended app is frozen. It will not respond, will not update, and will not answer the network until you resume it. This is what suspension is; RAMKeeper labels every suspended app so you are never left wondering whether it crashed.
An app that is quit and reopened is still an app that was quit. If it holds unsaved work and does not save it when asked, that work is gone, exactly as it would be if you quit the app yourself. RAMKeeper never acts on an app you are using in the foreground, and never on the system processes macOS needs, but the responsibility for your unsaved work stays where it always was - with you.
RAMKeeper does not delete files, does not modify other applications, and does not clear caches or purge memory. It observes, and it starts and stops processes you have chosen.
No warranty
RAMKeeper is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will suit a particular purpose of yours, or that it will free any particular amount of memory. macOS manages memory on its own terms and we make no promise about what the operating system will do in response.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of RAMKeeper is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for lost work, lost data, lost profits, or for consequences that follow indirectly from using the app.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not permit us to limit, and nothing here takes away consumer rights you have where you live.
Changes
These terms may change - to reflect a change in the app, in how payment works, or in what the law requires. The date at the top always says when they last changed. Material changes are announced on this page before they take effect. If you keep using RAMKeeper afterwards, the new terms apply.
